Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant

Catholic Health Physician Partners is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join Dr. Salvatore Rizzo's Orthopedic Surgery practice. This role supports both clinical and surgical care of foot and ankle patients. New graduates with a strong interest in orthopedics are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities include:

• First assist in orthopedic foot and ankle surgeries (including ORIF)
• Provide OR coverage 1–2 days per week
• Perform H&Ps, patient evaluations, and assist with treatment planning
• Manage patient phone encounters and medication refill requests
• Support pre- and post-operative patient care

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Active NY State PA license
• DEA certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred:

• Orthopedic or surgical experience (foot & ankle preferred)
• Strong clinical, procedural, and communication skills
• New graduates welcome to apply

Posted salary range: USD $69.55 - USD $74.67 /Hr.
