Building Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leader in building management and maintenance services, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Support Department supporting the Maintenance Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician Location: Baltimore, MD Pay Range: $28-$31/hr. What's the Job? Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, change filters, belts, electrical, and plumbing systems Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner Inspect building and premises for safety hazards and perform necessary maintenance to eliminate such hazards Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance What's Needed? 5-7 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs independently Good communication and customer service skills What's in it for me?
