Environmental Field Technician II Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. We're currently seeking an experienced Environmental Field Technician to support environmental monitoring, remediation, and construction activities for our Exton, Pennsylvania office. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who brings both environmental field experience and mechanical aptitude to the table. What You'll Do: Perform soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling in accordance with project scopes and regulatory protocols. Conduct well development and groundwater monitoring activities. Support operation and maintenance of environmental remediation systems. Supervise subcontractors during tank removals, subsurface excavations, and equipment/piping installations. Complete equipment troubleshooting, basic mechanical repairs, and routine maintenance of environmental systems. Maintain detailed and accurate field notes and calibration logs. Assist with warehouse tasks and general site upkeep. Ensure adherence to GES safety protocols and engineering standards in all tasks. What You Bring: 2–4+ years of relevant environmental field experience. Strong mechanical skills and hands-on troubleshooting ability. High school diploma or equivalent. OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (or willingness to complete training upon hire). Flexibility to work varied hours, including some weekends, overnights, and short-term travel. Willingness to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Detail-oriented, team-focused, and a strong communicator. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Why Join GES?
