What You'll Do As the Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting safety initiatives across our field operations, manufacturing, and service teams. Your responsibilities will include: Support the implementation and continuous improvement of company-wide Environmental Health & Safety programs. Travel to customer job sites throughout the United States to conduct safety audits, observe work practices, provide coaching, and reinforce OSHA compliance. Deliver equipment safety training for forklifts, aerial lifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment. Document audit findings and ensure corrective actions are completed. Monitor and track safety incidents, near misses, property damage, vehicle accidents, and workers' compensation records. Submit customer-required safety prequalification forms and historical safety metrics. Coordinate employee safety training, certifications, background checks, and compliance requirements. Support emergency response planning, inspections, safety committee meetings, and regulatory reporting. Assist with drug and alcohol testing programs, including serving as a Designated Employer Representative (DER). Communicate new safety policies, procedures, and regulatory updates across the organization. Conduct new hire safety orientation and ongoing monthly safety training. Partner with leaders across multiple departments to strengthen our safety culture. Assist with additional EHS initiatives and projects as assigned. What We're Looking For Education & Experience We'd love to hear from you if you have: Associate degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field OR Two or more years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, regulatory compliance, manufacturing, industrial operations, construction, utilities, or another fast-paced safety environment. Preferred experience includes: OSHA compliance Safety program coordination Customer safety prequalification systems Compliance databases such as DISA Industrial or field service operations What Makes You Successful You'll thrive in this role if you have: Safety & Regulatory Knowledge Understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices Experience conducting safety audits and hazard assessments Knowledge of industrial equipment and safe operating procedures Familiarity with safety reporting systems and compliance documentation Strong verbal and written communication skills Confidence coaching employees on safe work practices Ability to influence positive behavior through collaboration rather than enforcement Organization & Attention to Detail Excellent organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and compliance requirements Strong documentation and recordkeeping abilities Problem Solving Ability to identify workplace risks and develop practical solutions Comfortable making decisions in dynamic field environments Technical Skills Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) PDF software Safety tracking systems and compliance databases Travel This position includes approximately 25% travel throughout the continental United States by vehicle and air. Travel includes: Field service operations Safety audits Equipment training Safety coaching You'll split your time between office, production, laboratory, shop, and field environments. This role may involve: Walking production floors and customer job sites Working around electrical equipment and industrial machinery Outdoor work in varying weather conditions Wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Occasional after-hours availability for safety-related emergencies Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Walk and stand for extended periods Climb stairs and navigate uneven terrain Lift or move up to 20 pounds occasionally Travel frequently throughout the U.S. Work at a computer for extended periods Our Culture We don't just talk about culture—we live it.
