Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner - San Antonio, TX
Location: San Antonio, TX

Work setting: On-site

Pay: $74.87/hour (W2)

Schedule: Clinic hours, includes every other weekend; possible holiday rotation. On-call rotation may be required.
Position Summary
We're seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to provide evidence-based care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and chronic condition management. You'll work collaboratively with a clinical care team to drive strong outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based urgent/primary care: assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patient health concerns
• Perform routine examinations and support positive patient outcomes
• Deliver services such as health screenings, wellness support, and chronic condition management
• Complete clinic administrative tasks (opening/closing, inventory, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, maintaining a clean environment)
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive plans of care
• Educate and counsel patients on healthy lifestyle choices

Required Qualifications

• Prior primary care or urgent care experience (minimum 1 year recent experience required)
• Master's-level Family Nurse Practitioner program completion
• Current National Board Certification
• Active Texas NP/APRN license (in good standing)
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC)

Additional Notes

• DEA registration may be required during onboarding
• This is a patient-facing role
• Safety-sensitive position
