Travel/Contract Registered Nurse

Travel/Contract Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in the Raleigh, North Carolina area, covering day and night shifts in an emergency department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients, ensuring swift and accurate assessment and intervention.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient conditions, treatments, and progress in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
• Execute all nursing duties with a focus on safety, compassion, and adherence to regulatory standards and hospital protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid nursing degree from an accredited institution
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• At least 1 year of ER nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent critical thinking skills
