We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer to join our embedded systems development team.
In this role, you will architect, design, and implement low-level firmware modules, middleware, and diagnostic software for leading-edge optical PHY chipsets. You will work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive software design and development for new products while maintaining legacy systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system, analog, and digital hardware designers.
- Develop and troubleshoot complex firmware applications in embedded C.
- Provide leadership in architectural governance, design patterns, and code hygiene.
- Act as a technical ambassador to help recruit and mentor top engineering talent.
- Bachelors in engineering and 12+ years of related experience; or Masters degree in Engineering and 10+ years of related experience
- Proven expertise in C and ARM Assembly on embedded targets.
- Strong understanding of real-time systems, multi-threading, and concurrent programming.
- Experience with multiprocessor programming and inter-processor communication.
- Hands-on driver experience (MDIO, I2C, SPI, etc.).
- Familiarity with ARM processor architectures.
- Software development experience in Windows (Visual C++) and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of open-source licensing (GPL, LGPL, ASL) and proprietary software interfacing.
