Hours per Shift: 10

Experience: Minimum of 2 strong years of critical care, pre-op, and Recovery/PACU experience required. Must have at least 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting.

License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.

Certifications: BLS - AHA ACLS - AHA PALS Telemetry

Must-Have: Experience in ICU, Pre-op, and PACU areas - Telemetry certified - Strong background in Telemetry

Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patients' needs. Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care for patients. Initiates assessments based on the patient's problems or needs, and the physician's medical diagnosis. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions and manages care of patients. Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of evidence-based practices. Provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
