Job Title: RN - Electrophysiology Profession: RN Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an Electrophysiology Lab setting required. License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Scrub experience in EP Procedures including Ablations, CRM Devices, and LAAO. LLE scrub experience is requested. Description: The Electrophysiology Lab is seeking a registered nurse with experience in electrophysiology. The average number of cases is 15-20 per day. Patient types include those with cardiac arrhythmias and various electrophysiology diagnoses. Candidates must have experience in scrubbing, circulating, documentation, and sterile technique. The skills required include pace/stimulate, x-ray equipment, airway management during nurse-led sedation, and arterial/venous sheath management. Candidates should be proficient in hemodynamic monitoring and have experience with CARTO, advanced arrhythmia processes, and defibrillator threshold testing. Familiarity with various technologies and equipment specific to electrophysiology is essential. The department values a patient-focused and team-oriented culture, emphasizing excellence and inclusivity. This role also involves collaboration with physicians, fellows, teammates, vendors, leadership, and anesthesia. Moderate sedation, Isuprel drips, and cardioversions are part of the RN's responsibilities.
