Construction Assistant Superintendent - $50M+ Public Projects

Description The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for: Overseeing all field operations, ensuring work is completed according to project specifications and timelines. Coordinating, directing, and supervising subcontractors and direct labor on‑site. Ensuring compliance with safety, schedule, quality control, and cost control standards. Developing and maintaining the site logistics plan, ensuring smooth operations across all aspects of the project. Assisting in developing, updating, and maintaining the overall project schedule. Leading weekly foreman and safety meetings to ensure team alignment and safety adherence. Attending and contributing to weekly owner meetings, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns. Profile The right Assistant Superintendent has the following qualifications: 2+ years of experience in the construction industry Ground‑up or renovation experience on projects $20M+ Ideally within public, academic, or K‑12 construction An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field Massachusetts Unrestricted Supervisor's License Experience using Procore or other construction management software Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment Job Offer The Assistant Superintendent will receive: Compensation $85K-$115K (based on experience) Project Bonus: For on‑time project completion 401k 3% match 2 weeks vacation to start, plus 5 sick days and 2 personal days MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
