Schedule: Full-Time | 7 days, 7 nights with 5 back-up shifts in a 6 week block.

CME allowance of $2500/year

What You Will Do

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a thriving, highly respected practice with strong partnerships across the hospital and deep, longstanding relationships with referring hospitals throughout the region. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make an immediate and meaningful impact on the care of children and families.

• Join an established team of 6 physicians and 5 APPs
• Call structure: No call
• Practice setting: inpatient
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Perform life-saving interventions and advanced proceduresincluding intubations, line placements, and chest tube managementto stabilize and support our most vulnerable pediatric patients.
• Optimize patient outcomes through the expert management of mechanical ventilation, pharmacological therapies, and conscious sedation protocols.
• Collaborate across disciplines to execute comprehensive care plans, ensuring every child receives a seamless and compassionate transition from critical illness to recovery.

• 14 bed PICU / 8 bed CVICU
• Level 1 Trauma Center, Regional ECMO Center for neonates, children and teenagers
• Serving a population of approximately 7 million people in Central Indiana
• Integrated referral network

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
