Supply Utility Clerk

The Utility Clerk supports warehouse and shipping operations by packing aerospace components, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role requires careful attention to detail, strong computer and data entry skills, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment while following safety and quality standards.

• Perform packing of aerospace components and materials according to company and customer specifications.
• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including inspection, documentation, and labeling.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control activities.
• Assist with cycle counts and help organize stock to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment as needed, following all safety procedures.
• Use data entry, scanning, and validation tools to process and track inventory and shipments.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all tasks and work areas.
• Communicate effectively with day shift teams to ensure smooth handoffs and continuity of operations.
• Work independently and manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory role preferred.
• Experience with data entry, scanning, and validation in a warehouse or inventory environment.
• Strong computer skills for using inventory and shipping systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).

• Previous experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or a similar regulated environment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes and cycle counting.
• Comfort working with barcoding, scanning devices, and digital documentation systems.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with other shifts and team members.

This position is based in a warehouse environment handling aerospace components and materials. You will regularly use warehouse technologies such as inventory and shipping systems, barcode scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment. The role involves standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working around active material handling equipment. The environment emphasizes safety, adherence to quality standards, and clear communication between shifts to maintain smooth operations. Appropriate work attire suitable for a warehouse and safety-conscious setting is expected.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valencia, CA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
