Process Engineer

Overview Job Title: Process Engineer Collaborate with Innovative 3Mers Around the World. This position provides an opportunity to transition from other experiences to a 3M career. Responsibilities Commissioning, qualifying, and supporting assembly for SCBA products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to scale up and qualify new products. Leading continuous improvement projects in a Lean Manufacturing environment. Leading programs to improve product and process understanding (PPU) with emphasis on statistical techniques. Determining and implementing capital improvement projects. Qualifications To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start). Additional qualifications that could help you succeed: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. Experience in project management. Experience working with Lean Manufacturing concepts/practices. Demonstrated experience participating on cross functional teams. Flexible to provide support across different shifts of manufacturing operations as needed. Engineering co-op or internship experience. Self-starter/self-directed that leads with high energy and passion.
