Store ManagerFairport Hardware & Rentals is seeking a Store Manager with a strong background in retail and management.Position Summary:The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, drives profitability, and ensures exceptional customer service. You will lead team members, manage inventory control, maintain safety standards, and provide advice on home improvement and hardware productsKey Responsibilities:Customer Service & Sales: Greet customers, and lead by example in providing product solutions. Work to resolve customer problems and have the store's best interest taken into consideration.Team Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and coach sales associates to reach performance and sales goals.Inventory & Merchandising: Monitor stock levels, order merchandise, execute seasonal floor resets, and minimize shrinkage.Operations & Safety: Maintain a clean, hazard-free sales floor, manage opening/closing procedures, and protect physical assets.Minimum Requirements:Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of retail management experience (hardware or home improvement background preferred).Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; college coursework is a plus.Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and basic computer proficiency (MS Office, POS systems).Physical: Ability to stand for 8 hours, bend, climb, and lift up to 25 lbs.Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.We believe that diverse backgrounds, beliefs, experiences, and perspectives drive innovation and open the door to new possibilities.
