Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement & MRP Management
• Manage and oversee the company's MRP system.
• Ensure product configurations remain current, including minimum inventory levels, lead times, vendor pricing, and related data.
• Oversee demand forecasting and production planning in coordination with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams.
• Lead and direct buyers responsible for executing purchasing activities through MRP.
• Manage inventory levels to balance service requirements and cash flow objectives.
• Supply Chain Management
• Ensure supplier-related aspects of the company's quality management system are effectively executed.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with key suppliers.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance.
• Lead supplier qualification and review processes.
• Identify and evaluate new sources for products and services.
• Collaborate with technical and quality teams to maintain regulatory and material compliance requirements.
• Department Leadership & Continuous Improvement
• Establish, monitor, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the supply chain team.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to support strategic initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts across supply chain processes.
• Additional Responsibilities
• Serve as a backup resource for purchasing activities when necessary.
• Evaluate, select, implement, and optimize supply chain technologies and tools.
• Participate in ERP implementation initiatives, including process design, system configuration, and long-term optimization.

• 10+ years of purchasing and/or supply chain management experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, or similar standards.
• Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
