Pediatrics: General, Queens

Department of Pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Pediatrician to join our team in Flushing, Queens at the Theresa Lang Children’s Center . The Theresa Lang Children’s Center is an academic, hospital‑based, multi‑specialty, comprehensive pediatric care center serving the Queens community and beyond, caring for children ages 0–21. It is one of two continuity clinic training sites for the NYP/Weill Cornell Pediatric Residency Program and participates in the Weill Cornell Medical School student clerkship in Pediatrics . Responsibilities Precept residents in clinic Teach medical students in clinic Provide direct care to your own patient panel without resident involvement Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Provide some weekend and evening coverage Utilize additional language proficiency as needed (a plus) Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible General Pediatrician Experience in precepting residents and teaching medical students Experience in direct patient care Willingness to perform weekend or evening coverage Additional language proficiency is a plus Salary and Benefits The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $240,000. This compensation range does not include our benefits and any incentive payments based on quality measures and productivity that may be applicable to this role. The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and credentials.
