Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 6 months within the last 6 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer. Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether the facility was a teaching facility. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job being applied to.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months. Strong cardiac telemetry background required. Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physician orders and parameters. Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips. MS/Tele travelers do not need prior travel experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years of cardiac telemetry experience preferred.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment for a DNU check.

Unit Details: Cares for ED hold patients awaiting inpatient placement, primarily MS/Tele. More telemetry patients than medical patients. RNs titrate Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone drips. No monitor tech in the ED. ED PCTs available. May assist with ED patients, including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration, but will not be the primary RN for ED patient assignments.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks. Must work 2 of 4 major holidays. No call required. Ability to self-schedule; however, this could change from time to time.

Floating Requirements: First to float; may float to Med/Surg, Tele, and overflow units, and to CRMC/MGMC EDs as needed.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
