What You'll Do

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room.
• Assist surgical teams during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to intraoperative needs.
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff.
• Support emergency response situations if required.

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to travel and work scheduled shifts in a fast-paced environment

About the Assignment

This role is based at a leading healthcare facility in Slidell, Louisiana, providing surgical services with a focus on patient safety and quality care. You will join a dedicated team supporting a busy OR that handles 10-25 cases per day, including weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts.
