NOTE - this position will be working for Inland Transport Services, a division of C&M Forwarding Co, Inc.

Position Summary

Operate a straight truck to transport product between local destinations while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

This is a full-time position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Safely operate a straight truck to deliver products to our customers in accordance with all company and federal/DOT rules and regulations
• Ensure product is properly loaded and secured for safe and timely delivery
• Maintain and prepare daily logs to include Pre and Post trip inspections
• Immediately report any customer or equipment issues or incidents to the Dispatch
• Provide exceptional customer service to customers
• Other duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Valid driver’s license (a HazMat endorsement is beneficial)
• Safe driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screening
• Able to operate a pallet jack and lift gate
• High School diploma or equivalent

The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs.
• The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
