Part Time Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) Location: Lincolnshire, Illinois Company: Serenity Estates of Lincolnshire Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Part Time Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our dedicated healthcare team at Serenity Estates of Lincolnshire. As a valued member of our team, you will provide high-quality wound care services to our residents, ensuring their overall health and well-being. This part time opportunity requires three days/week (includes rotating weekends and rotating holidays). Candidates could be full time, by working the floor as a unit nurse on wound care off days. Responsibilities: Provide wound care services to residents, including assessment, treatment, and education Develop and implement individualized wound care plans to promote healing and prevent further complications Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, and caregivers, to ensure comprehensive care Monitor and document resident progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the medical team Educate residents and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and treatment plans Requirements: Current RN or LPN licensure in the state of Illinois Wound Care certification highly desired. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in wound care or a related field Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Passion for delivering high-quality patient care and making a positive impact in the lives of others This role is part time, specific days per week (includes rotating weekends and holidays). 4 days per pay period.
