Job Description
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. The COTA will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence.

Responsibilities:

Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist's plan of care.
Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist with patient and family education regarding therapy activities and goals.
Effectively communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Possess an active state COTA license or demonstrate the ability to obtain one.
Exhibit strong teamwork and patient care skills.
