Civil Structural Engineer

We are conducting a confidential search for a Civil / Structural Engineer to support heavy industrial engineering and capital projects based out of Birmingham, Alabama . This role will focus on structural analysis, design, and multidisciplinary project support for industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review structural designs for industrial projects
- Perform engineering calculations for steel, concrete, foundations, and support structures
- Support drawing reviews, specifications, and construction packages
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, piping, and project teams
- Assist with field verification, design updates, and technical problem-solving
- Help ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
Qualifications
- 5–20 years of civil/structural engineering experience
- Heavy industrial experience preferred
- Strong background in concrete and steel design
- Experience with tools such as STAAD, REVIT, BIM , or similar platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field preferred
