Associate Account Executive - Digital Marketplaces

Role Overview

We’re hiring an Associate Account Executive to own and grow our digital marketplace and social commerce book. This is a sales seat not a listings or operations role. You’ll carry the relationship, the assortment, and the number across two distinct selling motions: live/social commerce and managed marketplace accounts. It’s an ideal springboard for an early-career seller who wants to build broad e-commerce range fast, working directly with brands people love.

Core Focus Areas

• Sales growth — carry the number and drive revenue and GMV growth across the full digital marketplace book.
• Navigating inventory — sell against real stock positions; move available and excess inventory, manage replenishment, and keep the right product in front of buyers.
• Differentiation by account — tailor assortment, pricing, and positioning to each platform so accounts complement rather than compete with one another.
• Social commerce — build the brand and the sell-through engine on Whatnot, TikTok Shop, and Instagram through drops, live selling, and shoppable content.

What You’ll Own

Social & Live Commerce

• Whatnot, TikTok Shop, and Instagram — build and run the selling calendar, drops, and live/shoppable moments that convert.
• Curate shows and collections from inventory and new product placement
• Partner with content and marketing to turn trends into sell-through; react quickly to what’s moving.
• Grow followers, GMV, and repeat buyers across these platforms.

Managed Marketplace Accounts

• Wayfair, Overstock, and Target Plus — own item setup, cost/pricing, content quality, and promotional programs for each account.
• Manage assortment and replenishment conversations with category and merchandising contacts to protect margin and grow revenue.
• Use each platform’s reporting to spot opportunity, defend the buy box / placement, and expand the catalog
• Follow all orders and address any compliance, shipping issues and internal follow up as needed

What Success Looks Like

• Revenue and GMV growth against target across the full digital marketplace book.
• Expanded live assortment and improved item-level performance (conversion, sell-through, buy-box/placement share).
• New platform and program launches executed cleanly and on schedule.
• Healthy account relationships and margin discipline across all six-plus platforms.

Who You Are

• 2–4 years in e-commerce, marketplace, or digital sales.
• Comfortable switching gears between a fast, content-driven live-selling mindset and an analytical, account-management mindset.
• Data-fluent: fluent in Excel/Sheets and comfortable reading platform dashboards to make decisions.
• Commercially sharp: thinks in terms of inventory, margin, and how to differentiate assortment across accounts so they don’t cannibalize each other.
• On-camera comfort or genuine interest in live selling (Whatnot / TikTok Live) is a strong plus.
• Organized self-starter who can carry several platforms and deadlines at once without dropping the ball.
• Excellent communicator who represents the brands and the company well with external partners.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Whatnot, TikTok Shop, Wayfair, Overstock, or Target Plus.
• Familiarity with licensed/branded consumer products or home goods.
• Exposure to marketplace advertising or promotional tools.
