Under the supervision of the Division of Medi-Cal Fraud and Elder Abuse (DMFEA) Supervisor I, the Analyst II assists with statewide analytical and consultative support in the area of asset management, inventory controls, facilities, and safety. The Analyst II serves as a liaison between the Division and the California Department of General Services (DGS), and is responsible for performing complex analytical work related to managing and reporting asset management compliance to the U.S. Office Inspector General (OIG), researching federal and state laws and regulations, and managing DMFEA offices statewide. The incumbent ensures alignment with state and federal requirements, supports executive decision-making, and promotes operational accountability across the Division.

The Analyst II must have the ability to tactfully elicit information and cooperation from DMFEA personnel at varying levels of authority and manage relationships with a broad set of stakeholders. The incumbent must reason logically and creatively, and utilize a variety of analytical techniques to resolve problems and provide recommendations to executive management. The Analyst II must maintain confidentiality and exercise a high level of discretion.

Telework is available but is contingent on DMFEA's operational needs. Telework requires California residency. This position requires frequent travel.

This position is located in the Division of Medi-Cal Fraud and Elder Abuse and will be filled in Sacramento, Business Operations Section.

This is a hybrid schedule position that will be remote-centered. On-site visits are required, and travel throughout the state is required.
