Job Description
The Residential Carpenter will contribute expertise in framing, door and window fitting, cabinetry, and deck building primarily on home renovation, new home construction, and custom carpentry projects. Working within small teams of 2-5 members, this role reports to the Site Supervisor and involves local travel to various job sites to deliver quality craftsmanship and ensure project timelines are met.
Responsibilities
- Perform framing, door and window fitting, cabinetry, and deck building tasks
- Cut and prepare materials accurately according to project specifications
- Maintain clean and safe work sites through regular site cleanup
- Collaborate effectively with small teams on residential construction projects
- Travel locally to multiple job sites as required
- Report progress and issues to the Site Supervisor
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in residential carpentry
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Skilled in carpentry tools operation and woodworking techniques
- Knowledge of mathematics applicable to construction tasks
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
