Branch Manager

Job Purpose The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the branch, including leading team members, managing the branch P&L, driving new loan growth, managing current loan portfolio, marketing, maintaining current business partnerships, and developing new strategic business partners in accordance with RMC’s Mission, Vision, and Shared Values. Duties and Responsibilities Manages and inspires team members to perform to their full potential, thus driving branch profitability. Exercises independent judgment in decisions affecting employees and branch operations within company policy guidelines and district supervisor oversight. Acts as a subject matter expert on our personal loan product offerings to present loan solutions to current and potential customers. Maintains branch operational solvency through proper asset control, credit extension, and follow-up with past-due customers. Builds customer relationships through exceptional service and establishes new relationships with local retail businesses. Assigns duties to employees, reviews work for accuracy and efficiency, and trains staff as needed. Cultivates new relationships with local retail businesses and partners with account managers to maintain strong existing relationships. Provides oversight for loan approval and collection activities, including approving loans, delegating collection activity, processing insurance claims, and completing month-end reporting. Approves branch expenses, signs checks for branch expenses, loans, and money remittances, and verifies cash balances. Other duties as assigned by leadership. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years of management experience or completion of a required Management Trainee program. Valid driver’s license and access to a dependable automobile with liability insurance coverage. Must pass drug screen, criminal background check, and credit background check. Preferred Qualifications One or more years of consumer finance experience. College degree. Willingness to relocate for career advancement. Critical Competencies Passion for customer service. Empowerment of others. Emotional intelligence. Conflict Management skills. Working Conditions The position works in an office providing consumer loan products in person and over the phone. It may involve occasional driving in personal vehicle. Typical work hours are more than 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays and overtime required. The role is exempt for federal wage-hour law purposes and is not eligible for overtime pay.
