Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.


Marketing Automation Intern - La Crosse, WI: Kwik Trip, Inc.'s Marketing department is seeking a motivated intern to support the execution of multi-channel digital campaigns focused on marketing automation.

Primary job responsibilities:

• Assist the Kwik Rewards Marketing Automation Team
• Learn the basics of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Assist in customer journey mapping and design of marketing automation campaigns
• Build and edit emails, landing pages, and mobile messaging with HTML, CSS, and Ampscript
• Assist with customer segmentation for targeted messaging and automated campaigns
• Assist with analyzing and building messaging metrics reports
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business or related field of study
• Understanding of basic marketing principles to align with greater marketing goals
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proven multi-tasking abilities on multiple projects at a time
• Basic knowledge or the desire to learn HTML, CSS, Ampscript, and SQL

Work Schedule:

This is a paid internship that will last approximately 9 months with an opportunity to extend longer. Hours may vary with work load, but interested students must work up to 20 hours per week Monday through Friday during the school semesters and potentially up to 40 hours during school breaks. It is important to note that we offer flexibility with school scheduling.
