Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) position in Viroqua, Wisconsin. This is a travel - temporary assignment starting 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Earn between $2,004 and $2,049 per week. Shift is 3x12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with every-other weekend (Friday-Sunday) and holiday rotation. work setting is a rural health system with NICU experience required.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and functional respiratory tests as ordered and monitor patient progress.
- Create and adjust individualized treatment plans for patients requiring respiratory therapy; document response to therapy.
- Administer inhaled medications, manage airway support, and assist with NIV or ventilator care as appropriate.
- Perform phlebotomies and IV starts/removals when needed; ensure proper infection control and equipment maintenance.
- Educate patients and families on administering treatments and using respiratory equipment; document care in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with the NICU team to optimize respiratory care for neonatal patients and coordinate with the broader care team to ensure safe, effective therapies.

Requirements
- Active Wisconsin license to practice respiratory therapy
- NICU experience required
- Ability to work 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. shifts with every-other weekend and holiday rotation
- Ability to work in a rural health system setting
- Travel assignment eligibility and ability to meet agency onboarding requirements
