Job Summary:
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse position located in the Texas area. This role involves providing critical care to patients in a busy ICU setting, with a focus on patient assessment, monitoring, and intervention. The assignment is scheduled to start on 08/24/2026 and requires a dedicated professional to work day shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ICU experience of at least 2 years, valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, Texas state nursing license or equivalent, with a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level 1 or 2 trauma experience, cardiovascular surgery experience, and excellent customer service skills.
• Additional Information: The unit has 24 beds, with approximately 50 staff members including RNs, CNAs, sitters, and a unit secretary. Equipment used includes vents, Swan-Ganz catheters, Impella devices, and balloon pumps. Typical procedures involve intubation, central line placement, bronchoscopy, external ventricular drains, ICP monitoring, Swan-Pacers, and bolts. Staff may be required to work every other weekend and may be placed on call for their scheduled shift but are not expected to perform additional call duties outside their scheduled hours.
