SEO Content Strategist

Calculated Hire is seeking an experienced SEO Content Strategist to support our clients digital content and customer experience initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with copywriters, UX designers, SEO specialists, and product teams to develop, organize, and optimize customer-facing content across digital platforms. You will focus on creating intuitive content structures, improving search engine visibility, and ensuring that customers can easily access accurate and relevant information. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in SEO-driven content strategy, copywriting, content management systems, and information architecture, with experience developing and optimizing FAQ, Help Center, and customer support content. Key Responsibilities Partner with copywriters and UX designers to develop content structures, page layouts, headings, and consistent naming conventions that improve navigation and usability. Define and maintain the tone, voice, and writing style of FAQ and Help Center content, ensuring consistency across customer-facing experiences. Collaborate with SEO teams and content creators to review, modify, and optimize digital content for improved organic search performance. Conduct ongoing content audits and performance analyses, identifying opportunities to improve content quality, accessibility, usability, and search visibility. Develop content recommendations in partnership with UX, product, and copywriting teams. Create, update, and publish digital content using content management systems, with a preference for Contentful. Manage content submissions, updates, and workflows through project management platforms such as Adobe Workfront. Support the organization and integration of content within a centralized content repository. Collaborate on content strategy and tone of voice for interactive voice response (IVR) systems and other customer messaging channels. Ensure content remains accurate, consistent, and aligned with established brand and customer experience standards. Required Qualifications Professional experience in content strategy, SEO, digital content management, or a closely related field. Strong copy development, editing, and proofreading abilities. Demonstrated experience applying SEO principles to digital content and improving content discoverability. Hands-on experience creating, updating, and managing content within a content management system. Understanding of information architecture, page structure, content hierarchy, and user-centered content design. Experience conducting content audits and translating performance findings into actionable recommendations. Strong written English communication skills, with the ability to maintain consistent tone, voice, and messaging. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including UX, product, SEO, and copywriting. Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple content assignments and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with Contentful or a similar enterprise CMS. Familiarity with Adobe Workfront or comparable project and content workflow management platforms. Experience developing content for FAQ pages, Help Centers, knowledge bases, or customer self-service platforms. Exposure to IVR content, voice search optimization, or customer messaging systems. Experience working with content repositories, databases, landing pages, and reporting platforms.
