Pharmacy Technician Highlights Schedule (Training):Monday–Friday,8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Schedule (Post-Training):Monday–Thursday,9:00 AM – 5:30 PM; Friday,8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Onsite requirement:Must be able to work onsite at: Wilkes Barre, PA 18707 Potential remote/offsite:After approximately4–6 weeks onsite, may transition to remote/offsitebased on performance Type:Temporary (approx.26 weeks),40 hours/week Interviews:Onsite interviews required Planned start notes (per job details):OnboardingFriday, October 2, 2026; instructor training beginsMonday, October 5, 2026 Pay rate:$17.70 per hour Responsibilities Perform100% prescription entry / data entry, collecting and inputting prescription information per protocols and legal requirements Supportinsurance verification, including contacting insurance companies and resolving authorization/coverage questions Handleregister transactions, including copays, payments, and accurate financial processing Manage front-endinventory(OTC meds, health products, related items) ProvideOTC guidanceand product selection support; educate patients on dosage, side effects, and proper usage Maintaincompliancewith pharmacy laws/regulations (confidentiality, labeling, controlled substance rules, etc.) Prioritize workflow, manage customer queues, and communicate effectively with pharmacy staff Assist withtraining/mentoringof less experienced technicians/support staff as needed Requirements Registered Pharmacy Technician in Texas(required) Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)(required) Verifiable High School Diploma or GED(required) 3–6 monthspharmacy technician experience (required) Strong written/verbal communication and solid problem-solving skills Comfort withMicrosoft applications(Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail and interpret prescription terminology/medications If/when remote: must have asecure, private home workspaceandreliable hardwired internet(Wi Fi/satellite not permitted per job details) Benefits Available Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
