Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Lewistown, Montana Travel

Location: Lewistown, Montana

Schedule / Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 3 × 12-hour shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor & Delivery setting throughout the night shift
• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as ordered by the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana or a compact state
• Current BLS certification
• Prior clinical experience in Labor & Delivery
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a consistent schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Previous travel or contract nursing experience
