You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, mitigate supply risks, and support business growth.Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals.Execute sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.Manage supplier relationships, performance, and issue resolution.Identify and mitigate supply chain and supplier risks.Drive cost reduction, inventory optimization, and working capital improvements.Collaborate with Operations, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Finance to support business initiatives and continuous improvement.Manage employee performance, development, and accountability.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and purchasing controls.Build strong internal and external business relationships.Perform additional duties as needed to support business objectives.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, Market Strategy/Marketing Analysis or related discipline.7+ years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supplier management, planning or supply chain operations, including experience supporting manufacturing or operational environments. Demonstrated success managing supplier relationships, negotiating purchase agreements, ensuring continuity of supply, supporting inventory management objectives, and executing procurement processes that meet business, quality, delivery, and cost requirements. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Master’s degree preferred.Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing preferred.Knowledge of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and contract administration.Experience managing supplier performance and resolving quality, delivery, and supply issues.Ability to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.Understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and working capital optimization.Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.Experience implementing efficient and compliant procurement processes.Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing procurement teams.Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement tools.CPSM, CPM, CSCP, or related supply chain certifications preferred.Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
