Responsibilities
- Provide triage, assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for ED patients from newborns to geriatrics.
- Administer medications, perform nursing interventions, monitor patient status, and document care in the medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and other members of the ED team to ensure safe patient care and efficient flow.
- Monitor vital signs, respond to changes in patient condition, and escalate care as indicated.
- Deliver patient and family education, plan for discharge, and coordinate referrals as needed.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
- This position is represented by CNA.

Requirements
- Current RN license to practice in California.
- Experience in Emergency Department settings or demonstrated ED competency.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
