Staff Accountant

Lead Professional Recruiter at Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions, a division of QPS Employment Group Staff Accountant Our client, a well-established privately owned organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support their Finance Director and contribute to key financial objectives. Key Responsibilities Support the Finance Director across all accounting functions and ensure adherence to GAAP standards. Contribute financial data, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic planning and operational decision-making. Assist in the preparation, coordination, and consolidation of annual budgets and forecasts. Forecast cash requirements, monitor obligations, and maintain appropriate funding levels. Research and interpret financial data to respond to internal inquiries, including sales margin analysis and pricing impact. Analyze inventory turns to support cost-control measures. Perform general accounting duties and support monthly/quarterly financial processes. Provide backup support to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as needed. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information at all times. Qualifications 3+ years of relevant accounting experience. Manufacturing industry or cost accounting experience strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP system experience. Accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Strong reconciliation and critical-thinking ability. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
