Speech-Language Pathologist

Position Overview As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders. Speech-Language Pathologist Job Requirements Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active New York State Speech-Language Pathology license CCC-SLP preferred Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care strongly preferred FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) experience a plus, not required Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide therapy services for residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing impairments Accurately document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, and medical staff to ensure coordinated care Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and swallowing safety Maintain compliance with facility policies and all regulatory standards Schedule Full-Time position Day shift On-site Compensation $95,000 per year (based on experience)

• 90,000 per year (new graduates welcome)
