Position Overview:

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Statewide Coaching Analyst & Coordinator. Essential Functions:

• Serves as Statewide GROWTH (Guiding Relationships, Opportunities, Well-Being, Transformation, and Hope) Consultation Program Manager
• Serves as full line supervisor
• Provides oversight, education, and expert consultation to child welfare leaders and teams regarding effective partnering with individuals with lived experience
• Monitors fidelity to program frameworks (Implementation Science, Continuous Quality Improvement, and lived experience engagement)
• Develops, composes, and prepares summaries and briefings regarding the GROWTH Program for senior leadership
• Represents the Deputy Director and the Department in meetings, on task forces, and in other outward-facing representation activities regarding the GROWTH Program
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires a master’s degree in social work, psychology, public administration, or a related human services field
• Requires four years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a human services field

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of supervisory or management experience in child welfare, mental health, or similar human services programs
• 3 years of experience working with birth parents, youth, and/or foster caregivers with lived experience within the child welfare system
• 3 years of professional experience in a public or private organization exercising knowledge of child welfare related federal and state laws, rules, and regulations

Conditions of Employment:

• Requires the ability to pass a background check
• Requires ability to travel on a frequent basis in the performance of duties. Requires appropriate, valid driver’s license
• Certain provisions of the revolving door restrictions contained in 5 ILCS 430/5-45 apply to this position. • This position has been found to meet the requirements in section 4A-101 of the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act requiring the occupant/employee to file a Statement of Economic Interest. The Illinois Governmental Ethics Act (5 ILCS 420/4A et seq.) requires certain state officials and employees to file annual Statements of Economic Interest with the Office of the Secretary of State that will be made available for examination and copying by the public. All employees required to file a Statement of Economic Interest are also required to file the Supplemental Statement of Economic Interest with the Executive Ethics Commission. (See Executive Order 15-09) Fines and penalties apply to untimely filings

Term Appointment :

Candidates hired into a term position shall be appointed for a term of 4 years and are subject to a probationary period. The term may be renewed for successive four-year terms at the Director of the Department of Children and Family Service's discretion.
