Sales Development Manager - Infectious Disease Diagnostics - New England

Abbott seeks a Sales Development Manager to drive new business acquisition for infectious disease diagnostics across New England. The role focuses exclusively on identifying and converting untapped accounts within hospital networks, laboratory, and clinical settings.

Responsibilities

Identify, prospect, and convert zero-billing and competitive accounts within assigned New England territory
Develop and execute strategic territory plans using market intelligence and data analytics
Manage full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and account transition
Maintain accurate pipeline, account plans, and revenue forecasts using CRM tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and build relationships with healthcare decision-makers

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
4+ years of proven sales experience in relevant field
Demonstrated success converting competitive accounts from lead generation to close
Individual contributor experience with complex selling and territory planning
Willingness to travel within territory approximately 50% overnight

Compensation: $68,000–$136,000 base
