Associate Registrar

Pay Range: Targeted salary up to $75,000 annually, depending on experience. Benefits Eligible: Yes Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Travel: Not required Position Introduction The Office of the Registrar serves as the central hub for academic administration at OU. The office maintains the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of all student academic records and provides essential services such as course registration, degree navigation, classroom scheduling, academic calendar coordination, transcript evaluation, diploma production and FERPA compliance that support students, faculty, and academic units across the institution. Additional Responsibilities Posting of official grades each semester Assisting with professors and instructors with grading issues each semester as they arise Responsible for the collection, recording, maintenance and reporting of student records within FERPA guidelines, e.g. grades, registration data, transcripts, and other associated duties Establish and maintain effective communication and cooperative working relationships with administrators, faculty, staff, students and/or the public in order to accomplish the objectives of the Office of the Registrar Provide direct assistance and advice to the Registrar regarding office operations, academic policy, procedure, registration, and other student record functions Collaborating with the Academic Integrity Office to ensure the accurate posting of misconduct and removing suspensions in a timely manner Collaborating with IRR on various projects Collaborating with OU Law with their grading needs Overseeing and responding to the View email address on click.appcast.io email account Perform other related duties as assigned in the Office of the Registrar Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree 24 months of related experience in leadership and/or management in student records, registration, and/or admissions. Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months related experience.
