Job Description Make as much as $36 an hour as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Manahawkin, NJ (and nearby areas). This W2 position allows you to schedule your own shifts at partnering facilities and offers benefits and support from an employer. Benefits Hourly pay rate: $27–$36 per hour, up to 25% higher on average Weekly and daily pay options available Opportunities for overtime pay with boosted rates for holidays Employer withholding of taxes each pay period Work when and where you want by choosing shifts at partner facilities Variety of shifts available in any state where you are licensed (day, evening, overnight, weekday, weekend) Eligibility for health, dental, and vision insurance (including qualifying family members) Participation in a 401(k) retirement plan Employer‑paid workers’ comp and malpractice insurance coverage Access to upskilling opportunities with dedicated quality assurance nurses Tuition discounts up to 34% at Excelsior University for undergraduate and graduate programs Free continuing education courses via our app Job Responsibilities Receive orders and care plans from a virtual care team to assist patients during the acute phase of illness Coordinate with virtual nurses and hospitalists to identify patient needs and interventions required in the home setting Provide transition of care support and participate in home visits Obtain information from patients about specific symptoms and medical questions Measure and monitor blood pressure, vital signs, and overall condition of patients Provide timely and accurate reporting to the virtual care team Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting Offer compassionate support and companionship to patients Maintain patient engagement by establishing rapport, demonstrating empathy, and building a trusting relationship Qualifications and Skills Active, unencumbered New Jersey CNA license Experience in an acute care, in‑patient, hospital setting Current American Heart Association CPR for Healthcare Providers certification Up-to‑date Hepatitis B, MMR, and influenza vaccination records Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs COVID‑19 Considerations COVID‑19 vaccination requirements vary by state.
