Human Resources Specialist/Talent Acquisition/Recruiter
Location: Pensacola, Florida (Hybrid, 3 days in office)
Contract: 12 Month
Pay Rate: $25-$35/hr on W2
Role Overview
This role supports recruitment efforts by engaging and screening candidates for open entry-level and high-volume positions. The individual will work within defined guidelines to provide guidance on recruitment-related policies and processes, perform routine work assignments, and resolve problems to support other team members under direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle recruiting for entry-level and/or high-volume positions using various methods.
- Develop a basic recruitment strategy to support business leaders in their hiring needs.
- Maintain consistent communication with team leaders and senior peers on workflow.
- Occasionally assist with Talent Acquisition initiatives, including process improvements and projects.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and industry laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Facilitate a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Participate in recruitment events and communities to support candidate generation.
- Keep candidates continually informed of their application status with consistent communication.
- Partner with hiring leaders and HR stakeholders to identify gaps in hiring processes and implement solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 2-3 years of HR, Talent Acquisition, or recruiting-related experience.
Skills:
- Adaptability and flexibility to support multiple teams and in a different capacity as needed.
- Advanced ability to leverage relationships and knowledge to solve organizational challenges.
- Advanced communication and influencing skills.
- Advanced administration and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of effective screening and interview techniques.
- Familiarity with Title VII, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and other state regulations governing recruiting and talent acquisition practices.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in staffing and recruitment.
- Experience in financial services and knowledge of bank processes and services.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience.
