The Role
- Lead, coach, and develop the hospital team, including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Build efficient staffing plans and schedules aligned to patient flow and service goals while managing labor costs
- Oversee financial operations: budgeting, billing, expense control, reporting, and action planning to meet targets
- Elevate client experience through service standards, quality controls, and timely response to reviews and feedback
- Direct day-to-day operations, including inventory, vendor relations, scheduling, and equipment/facility upkeep
- Implement and refine policies, procedures, and workflows for consistent, high-quality outcomes
- Guide marketing, social media, and community outreach to attract and retain clients
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, safety protocols, record-keeping, and data privacy requirements
- Champion technology adoption, train teams on software and tools, and coordinate with IT support
- Full-time position; occasional evening or weekend coverage may be required to support Saturday hours and team needs

Requirements
- 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in veterinary or healthcare operations
- Demonstrated capability with P&L oversight, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making
- Proven strengths in hiring, coaching, engagement, and performance management
- Proficiency with practice management software and Microsoft Office or similar tools
- CVPM, CVBL, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (not required)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; ability to perform occasional physical tasks
- Authorized to work in the United States
- License to practice in Texas, if applicable to any clinical duties; a DVM license is not required for this management role
