Dohrn Transfer is currently seeking a Full Time Tire Clerk at our Rock Island, Il terminal! Heavy forklift usage, loading and unloading trailers Pay $20.63/hr Hours Monday - Friday, 8a-430p Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance, PTO accrual, 401k match program, 6 paid holidays and much more! Purpose To keep equipment parts and tire inventories accurate and orderly, and to handle inbound and outbound transfers of parts and tires to and from outside shop locations. Perform all tasks related to shipping and receiving parts and tires Monitor tire inventories in distribution center and outside shops Assist in the coordination of annual inventories Monitor price fluctuations and upscale discrepancies to supervisor Maintenance of parts shelving and general housekeeping duties React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned Perform other duties as needed High School completion or equivalent Working knowledge of inventory control procedures Verbal and written communication skills essential for internal and external customers Problem solving and troubleshooting skills No record of a driving license suspension or revocation for more than 30 days, covering the 36-month period prior to the order date of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR); A suspension for failure to pay and or failure to appear will be considered provided that there was no conviction for driving while suspended during this time period No record of citation or conviction for any serious traffic violation during the 60-month period prior to the order date of a Motor Vehicle Record No past pattern or record of citations or convictions for more than three motor vehicle violations during the 36-month period prior to the order date of the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) No past pattern or record of involvement in more than one at-fault traffic accidents and no more than two motor vehicle violation during the 36-month period prior to the order date of the MVR Must pass a NON -Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination Must consent to a pre-employment drug screen; Dohrn Transfer must receive a negative result Excellent attendance Working Conditions/Physical Demands Medium work; Exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently Subject to both environmental conditions activities occur inside and outside; Outside work may be in extreme weather conditions Subject to standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and reaching particularly for sustained periods of time Subject to noise there is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level Subject to hazards includes a variety of physical working conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, and exposure to chemicals Subject to atmospheric conditions one or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin Fumes, odors, dusts, mists and gases Subject to standing for particularly for sustained periods of time The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as operate machines and motor vehicles; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eye Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers Talking and hearing required to communication with and listen to others to share or receive information Starting from USD $21.00/Hr. #J-18808-Ljbffr
