Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services to adult patients within an acute care environment, including evaluation and treatment planning.
- Implement and adjust OT interventions to promote functional mobility, ADLs, and safe discharge planning; document patient progress accurately.
- Collaborate with an interprofessional team (nursing, therapy, physicians, case management) and participate in rounds and care conferences.
- Educate patients and families on home programs, adaptive equipment, and strategies to maximize independence.
- Ensure accurate documentation, compliance with licensing requirements, and safe patient handling in a busy hospital setting.

Requirements
- Active Hawaii state certification to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Current Hawaii licensure to practice in acute care settings.
- Availability to cover weekends and dayshift in a 5x8 schedule.
- Willingness to participate in a travel temporary assignment of approximately 13 weeks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary acute care environment.
