Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years in apheresis or dialysis, with experience in central lines and ports. License: Must have a current nursing license in hand prior to start date. Certifications: BCLS required. Must-Have: - Ability to cannulate AV fistula and AV graft. - Experience in acute care inpatient dialysis. - Proficiency in apheresis treatment, blood prime, and blood return. - Knowledge of infection control practices and management of dysrhythmias. - Competency in post apheresis treatment and red blood cell exchange. - Familiarity with therapeutic plasma exchange/plasmapheresis, tunneled/non-tunneled catheters, and apheresis equipment or dialysis. Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in dialysis within a pathology lab focused on apheresis. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients undergoing apheresis treatments. The role involves working with special equipment and managing complex patient needs. Candidates must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality patient care. The position requires adherence to safety and infection control protocols. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for patient support and care management. The nurse will be expected to float within the facility as required. Availability for rotating call is necessary.
