Job Description We are looking for a Temporary Pharmacy Technician to join our family in Brighton, CO . Your job will be to assist the Pharmacist in dispensing medication to customers and patients according to prescribed methods. The Pharmacy Technician approaches his/her tasks in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change. Qualifications What you need to be qualified for this job: Computer skills required include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for email, basic Internet knowledge, and multi-line phone experience Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent Experience: One year of general pharmacy experience working as a Pharmacy Technician is desired Certification: A Pharmacy Technician must obtain a certification or provisional certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (Board) It is a job requirement that applicants/new hires comply with this regulation and receive this certification or provisional certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (Board) before their start date If granted a provisional certification, the employee must pass their CPHT examination in the time frame required by the State Board of Pharmacy. (18 months), or be granted an extension by the State Board, allowing them to maintain their provisional licensure.
