About Our EMS Network:
Hunter's Ambulance Service is a licensed commercial ambulance company owned and operated by Hartford HealthCare Emergency Medical Services. The company operates six locations across central and southern Connecticut and provides both emergency and nonemergency medical care to facilities and communities throughout the state. With a staff of highly trained professionals, Hunter's Ambulance Service stands ready to respond to individual or community medical demands. Your Impact:
- Responds to instructions from emergency medical dispatchers and performs assignments in a timely manner.
- Operates emergency vehicles in accordance with regulations and company policy.
- Assures proper stocking, re-stocking and maintenance of medical supplies and equipment.
- Provides accurate and timely written and typed communication on patient disposition.
- Provides patient assessment, treatment and transport within applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current State of Connecticut EMT Certification in good standing.
- Current American Heart Association CPR or the ability to obtain and maintain an American Heart Association CPR Certification within 30 days of hire.
- Valid Driver's License and an excellent driving record.
