Commercial Electrical Service TechnicianSuperior EMP is a growing multi-state contractor with more than 20 years of experience providing commercial electrical services to businesses across the region. Our team specializes in electrical service, repairs, and 24/7 emergency response for commercial facilities, delivering reliable solutions our clients depend on.We are seeking a Commercial Electrical Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install commercial electrical equipment and provide emergency power hookups during power outages. In this role, you will independently perform service calls, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems while documenting work order progress. Technicians begin each day from their home base and travel directly to customer jobsites, providing efficient, high-quality service.ScheduleMonday through FridayOccasion travel and night shiftsOvertime available but not guaranteedResponsibilitiesElectrical diagnosis, maintenance, and installation of various commercial electrical wiring, power, and conduit systemsSkilled in pulling and terminating wires in control centers, panels, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switchgear, receptacles, switches, and/or racewaysProficient in troubleshooting, testing, and repairing emergency generators and temporary power systems, including automatic transfer switches and/or power distribution systemsKnowledge of and experience with refrigeration control wiring, Ansul systems, and/or HVAC motor control wiring is preferredAbility to work independently from blueprints, sketches, and schematic drawingsProvide informative customer service regarding the nature of electrical repairsOperate company vehicles in accordance with department policiesProficient in the use of cell phone communication, GPS, and electronic documentation technologySubmit service paperwork and reports as required by department policyWillingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the departmentRequirementsFive or more years of electrical experience in commercial electrical service or construction rolesPass a pre-employment drug test and a motor vehicle background checkProficient English communication skills required to write reports and emailsMust be able to work according to safety guidelines, OSHA, and workplace policiesAbout the CompanySuperior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a commercial service and construction company with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality electrical and plumbing solutions across California and other states.
