Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,450 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate travel opening in Columbus, GA. The right SLP should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Tasks Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients. Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders. Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events. Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged to apply. BLS and ASHA‑SLP National Certification with state‑specific licensing. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
