Qualifications and Experience:
- Prior experience as a paraprofessional or educational aide in a school setting
- Comfort working 1:1 with students, including those with special needs
- Bilingual skills preferred, with the ability to support English Language Learners
- Experience with students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels
- Compassionate, patient, and resourceful approach to addressing student needs
- Dedication to fostering a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized academic and behavioral support to assigned students
- Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to follow educational plans and strategies
- Adapt instructional materials as needed to enhance student understanding
- Assist students in developing independent learning and social skills
- Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/guardians
- Track and document student progress and provide feedback to educational teams
